THE LA ROSA WAY OF COOKING
POLE LIMA BEANS
Ingredients:
Lots of Fresh La Rosa Pole Lima Beans, Shelled
Plenty of Butter, Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Place fresh pole lima beans into a large cooking pot and add water
to cover. Add a whole stick of butter and plenty of salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered for 20 minutes, adding water if
necessary to keep covered. If you really want them to taste heavenly,
add another stick of butter. Do not drain.
Ladle the beans into individual bowls and serve with fresh Jersey
corn on the cob and fresh Jersey tomatoes.
